PENSAMENTO DIGITAL IN PORTO ALEGRE

Pensamento Digital works with community centers all over Brazil. Featured here are five communities they work with in Porto Alegre, their home city in the south of Brazil.

The centers range from large and diverse and secular, like Campo da Tuca, or run by a religious organization, like CESMAR, or set up by a police station on a volunteer basis, like NCC Belem.

	Children from Cooperarte

Maria Mulher is a battered women's shelter that also sponsors numerous community projects, and Cooperarte is a small center just getting started, with the idea of helping people in the community produce and sell crafts.

With assistance from the National Cristina Foundation and McMahan Abilities Activists, Pensamento Digital is getting computers, computer training, and internet access to all of these community centers and to many others like them.
